Hotel Norge by Scandic

Great comfy room for 4- sofa bed was good for kids and the main bed was very comfortable! Lots of modern touches like usb outlets by the bed and great big windows, good baths etc. the only thing to note is the design of the bath has a small glass area which if you’re not staying with someone close to you - you’ll have to cover with a large towel. Didn’t see the pool or gym as it was just a rest break overnight on the way to Flåm. Breakfast was the best breakfast we’ve ever had in Europe! An entire huge table was just gluten free and the options for eating covered several rooms! Kids loved the variety too. Scrambled eggs, ready made omelets, homemade teas, fresh fruit, and on and on. Garage was perfect too behind the hotel access and easy to get to from the building inside.

Breakfast was fantastic, so much choice. Rooms were spacious and well equipped. Location in the city centre was brilliant. Staff were efficient.

excellent central location in the heart of the city. stylish interior, room was slightly cramped and had a small window looking into central quad but we didn’t mind this. very nice pool with steam and sauna rooms (small cost for using this area). the breakfast was very impressive and probably the best I’ve ever come across in a hotel. my advice would be to always get to breakfast early - especially on the weekends as non residents come to the hotel just for the breakfast and it gets very very very busy!

Nice location, excellent breakfast and comfortable bed. Personnel professional and nice
